The Living Room Diva & National Champion

Before I knew what a "user interface" was, I was busy designing dance routines and live performances. I spent 6 years as a rhythmic gymnast and even managed to be a national champion here and there (and yes, I knew a little Russian once).

If you think user experience deadlines are tough, try doing a perfect split while twirling a ribbon in front of a panel of judges.

The Bat Mitzvah Prank

If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I’m never without my travel journal. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved to write.

My family knew this “passion” a little too well. They once convinced me to write a professional and touching speech for a “random girl” who didn’t know what to say at her bat mitzvah. I poured my soul into those words, only to discover at my surprise party that I was the random girl. I literally wrote my own bat mitzvah speech!

All That Jazz

Naturally, I followed that love for performing straight to theater school. I spent three years studying acting, followed by a fun career in musicals and children’s plays all over the country. I loved the energy of the crowd, but eventually, I felt ready for a new kind of creative challenge.

Goodbye Stage, Hello Pixels

After my time on stage, I moved into content and social media. It was fun, but I quickly realized that even the best content needs a great place to land. I started building landing pages, discovered I actually liked figuring out how screens should work, and naturally found my way into Product Design.

Side note: This is Chula, my anxious dog :)

Looking for the Next Chapter

So, here I am. After a journey that took me from gymnastics championships and theater stages to content and digital assets, I’m now focused on UX/UI.

I’m looking for my next challenge, a place where I can put my skills to work, keep growing as a designer, and build things that people actually enjoy using.
